It was a whirlwind of a year---with my band The Mood Stabilizers, my folk-duo The Woeful Lonelies, or just by my lonesome self, we topped nearly 100 gigs by the end of 2012. And we're not slowing down. We've laughed, we've cried, we've awkwardly bantered---not necessarily in that order. But usually. NEW ALBUM UPDATES! We are about halfway done with my upcoming record Sidetracked, Baby. Barricading ourselves for two days at the farm deep in Norwich, Vermont, we blitzed through nine tracks...and a seemingly bottomless bag of peanut M&Ms (you can thank Simon Plumpton---our clown prince of percussion---for that one). With first single "New York, My Lovely" already recorded, mixed, and mastered at Colin McCaffrey's Green Room, the remaining 'Sidetracked' Sessions are currently taking place at Ryan Power's Stu Stu Studio: aka the old Dan Archer Studio, aka the joint where Phish recorded their album Lawn Boy. Next on the agenda: bringing some most excellent guest musicians to add their magic touch to the CD.
